This loop includes Malcapuya, Banana, and Malaroyroy Islands. These are all white sand beaches and the islands are much farther from the town of Coron (about 1.5hrs travel) so we have to pay the boatmen a whooping Php3000. We went through the same preparations we did the previous day, and enjoyed the long boat ride while eating our packed breakfast.
Approaching Malcapuya Island is a sight to behold. The water was so clear; it reminds me of my trip to Boracay 15yrs ago where I had to stop myself from jumping overboard to feel that white sand below. The bottom looked deceivingly close despite its depth. Malcapuya beach is a long stretch of white sand at the other side of the island. Not much to do here but swim, take photos (practice those jump shots), work some tan, or maybe run naked if you’re up to it :). We had our lunch here before heading to Banana Island.
